The vision of a local journalist, funded by local businesses, and run by volunteers, Visit Portishead is a much-visited resource for the town.

Though not our biggest, this is a major database-backed project including:

What's on calendar with user submitted events, custom moderation / admin system
Directory for local businesses, user submitted listings, custom coded admin
Clubs & Organisation listings with category filters, custom submission form and admin
Embedded defibrillator map
Custom blog & admin functions

It has driven development of some of the features in BlueTree CMS. And it’s still growing: as funding becomes available, we improve the site and add more content.
